IM Fell Double Pica by Igino Marini is a digital revival of a seventeenth-century English typeface from the collection donated by Bishop John Fell to Oxford University. The design faithfully preserves the idiosyncratic irregularities of early modern letterpress printing — uneven strokes, quirky proportions, and historical ligatures that give text a distinctly aged, scholarly atmosphere. It is prized for historical fiction, academic design, fine press aesthetics, and projects where authentic period typography is essential.
