Noto Sans Cypriot covers the Cypriot syllabary, an ancient script used on Cyprus from roughly the 11th to the 4th century BCE to write both the Cypriot Greek dialect and an undeciphered earlier language. The single-weight design faithfully renders the angular, linear forms of syllabic signs that survived on bronze tablets and stone inscriptions.
