Designed by Hagilda and Mushon Zer-Aviv, Alef is a Hebrew-primary sans-serif in two weights that approaches Hebrew typography from a contemporary, neutral grotesque perspective rather than traditional calligraphic models. Its clean, consistent stroke width and restrained letterforms make it highly legible for UI and body text in Hebrew, and the Latin support maintains a compatible visual weight. It suits news sites, digital products, and editorial work requiring dependable, modern Hebrew typography.
