About Averia Libre
Averia Libre by Dan Sayers is an unconventional experiment: it was created by averaging the outlines of a large collection of other typefaces, producing letterforms with a unique, slightly blurry organic quality that no single designer would have drawn intentionally. The result has a warm, imperfect texture that paradoxically feels both familiar and strange — a kind of typographic average of all type. Available in Light, Regular, and Bold, it works in editorial contexts where an unusual, slightly dreamy aesthetic is desired.
