Bitcount Prop Single Ink is the proportionally-spaced, single-layer variant in Petr van Blokland's Bitcount system, combining the fine control of eleven variable axes with proportional character spacing that reads more naturally in text settings than the monospaced variants. Axes controlling element shape, expansion, position, slant, and weight give designers near-total command over how the pixel-element letterforms are assembled. It suits editorial design, experimental branding, and digital art projects where unconventional letterforms are part of the concept.
