Doto by Óliver Lalan reimagines the classic dot-matrix display aesthetic through a variable font with two custom axes: weight (wght) for overall heaviness and ROND for controlling how circular or square each dot appears. Nine named instances span from sparse, minimal dot patterns to dense, almost-solid fills, allowing the retro-digital look to be tuned precisely. It suits dashboard UIs, retro-tech branding, scoreboard graphics, and any project that celebrates the beauty of early digital display technology.
