Über uns El Messiri
El Messiri is a bilingual sans-serif developed by Mohamed Gaber and Jovanny Lemonad that brings together Arabic and Cyrillic scripts under a single cohesive design philosophy, with an upright, modular construction that suits both scripts' structural needs. The variable weight axis spans four stops, and the Arabic letterforms draw on Naskh proportions while maintaining the overall informality appropriate for digital applications. It is well suited for Arabic-Russian publishing, diaspora media, and multilingual branding in post-Soviet and Middle Eastern markets.
