Über uns Ewert
Ewert by Johan Kallas and Mihkel Virkus is a bold slab-serif with an unusual double-layered construction — a primary stroke layer sits atop a shadow layer in a contrasting register, creating a striking chromatic effect even in single-color use. The design references early 20th-century woodtype display faces, particularly those used in Estonian and Northern European print culture. Best used at large sizes for posters, logotypes, and branding where retro-crafted letterpress energy is the goal.
