Gowun Batang by Yanghee Ryu is a contemporary Korean serif typeface designed around the batang (명조) style — the Korean equivalent of a roman serif — with delicate horizontal hairlines and refined stroke contrast suited for long-form reading. It covers the full Korean Hangul syllable block range along with Vietnamese script support, bridging East Asian and Southeast Asian typography needs. Its two weights (Regular and Bold) provide clean typographic hierarchy for Korean literary publishing and editorial web design.
