Über uns Namdhinggo
Developed by SIL International, Namdhinggo is a five-weight serif typeface designed specifically for the Limbu script, spoken by the Limbu people of Nepal, Sikkim, and Darjeeling. The letterforms draw on the script's historical manuscript tradition while being optimized for digital screen rendering at small sizes. It addresses a significant gap in digital typography for this UNESCO-recognized endangered script, supporting publishing, education, and cultural documentation.
