Über uns Noto Sans Mende Kikakui
Part of the expansive Noto project's mission to eliminate tofu — blank boxes for unsupported characters — this typeface renders the Mende Kikakui syllabary used by the Mende people of Sierra Leone and Liberia. The script, invented in the early twentieth century by Mohammed Turay, flows right-to-left, and this typeface preserves its distinctive syllabic structure. It is the essential choice for digital documents requiring Mende Kikakui text rendering.
