Über uns Noto Sans Sogdian
Sogdian was a Middle Iranian language whose script served as a major vector for Buddhist, Manichaean, and Nestorian texts along the Silk Road, and it is an ancestor of several later scripts including Uyghur and Mongolian. This Noto face covers the Unicode Sogdian block with historically faithful letterforms that capture the script's right-to-left cursive character. Scholars of Central Asian history, Silk Road studies, and comparative Semitic scripts will find it an essential reference tool.
