This guide variant accompanies Playwrite BE WAL, the typeface modeled on the cursive handwriting style taught in Wallonia, the French-speaking region of Belgium. Designed by TypeTogether's Veronika Burian and José Scaglione, it overlays stroke-order arrows and directional cues on the letterforms to assist handwriting instruction. Educational publishers and Belgian schoolteachers use it to produce curriculum-aligned penmanship worksheets.
