Playwrite TZ represents the Tanzanian national handwriting curriculum model, designed by TypeTogether's Veronika Burian and José Scaglione as part of a global initiative to document and digitize educational penmanship standards. Its letterforms reflect the upright, legible cursive taught in Tanzanian schools, balancing pedagogical clarity with natural pen flow. The variable weight axis enables use across a spectrum from practice worksheets to polished stationery and editorial display.
