Über uns Triodion
Triodion by Aleksandr Andreev is a Cyrillic display typeface inspired by pre-Petrine Church Slavonic lettering — specifically the elaborate semi-uncial (poluustav) style used in Orthodox liturgical books from the 15th to 17th centuries. The letterforms carry the characteristic heavy curves, decorative flourishes, and archaic letterform variants that define this venerable typographic tradition, while remaining sufficiently regularized for contemporary use. It is ideal for Russian Orthodox Church publications, Slavic historical reconstructions, and any design invoking the visual authority of pre-modern Slavic manuscript culture.
