About Akaya Telivigala
Designed by Vaishnavi Murthy and Juan Luis Blanco, Akaya Telivigala is a display typeface for the Telugu script with rounded, playful letterforms that bring a festive, celebratory quality to one of India's major scripts. The design takes inspiration from the flowing, ornate qualities of traditional Telugu calligraphy while simplifying them into a bold contemporary display weight. It suits Telugu-language entertainment branding, festival graphics, children's publications, and media requiring warmth and cultural authenticity.
