About Dangrek
Dangrek, designed by Danh Hong, is a display typeface for the Khmer script with bold, assertive letterforms that give the flowing curves of Cambodian writing a strong graphic presence. The design amplifies the natural roundness of Khmer characters into a confident display face suited for signage, posters, and headlines in Cambodian-language publications and media. Its single weight is optimized for large sizes where the distinctive script character can be fully appreciated.
