About Fanwood Text
Fanwood Text by Barry Schwartz is a text serif inspired by the work of the legendary American typographer Frederick Goudy, particularly his old-style designs of the early 20th century. The single-weight family carries warm, slightly irregular letterforms with bracketed serifs and humanist proportions suited to book and editorial reading. It is well matched to literary fiction, essay collections, personal publishing projects, and editorial design that values the warmth of early American book typography.
