About Hind Siliguri

Hind Siliguri by the Indian Type Foundry is part of the Hind superfamily, specifically optimized for the Bangla (Bengali) script alongside a Latin companion designed to share optical size and weight. ITF approached the design with careful attention to the complex conjunct forms and headline-style top bar (matra) characteristic of Bangla typography, making it one of the more sophisticated Bangla typefaces available for web use. Five static weights cover the range from light interface text to bold headings.
