About Idiqlat
Idiqlat by SIL International is a scholarly serif typeface supporting the Syriac script, one of the world's oldest continuously used writing systems, with roots in the Aramaic alphabet of ancient Mesopotamia. The three-weight family provides the typographic range needed for Bible translations, liturgical texts, and academic publications in Eastern Christianity traditions including Assyrian, Chaldean, and Syriac Orthodox communities.
