About Kadwa
Kadwa by Sol Matas is a Devanagari-Latin dual-script serif typeface designed to serve Hindi and other Devanagari-script languages with a sturdy, traditionally structured face suitable for publishing and body text. The two-weight family (regular and bold) provides basic hierarchy support, and the design carefully aligns the visual weight and cap height between the Devanagari and Latin character sets. It suits Hindi-language editorial design, books, and web content where a dependable, classically-rooted serif is needed.
