About Kanit

Cadson Demak's Kanit is one of the few typefaces to successfully merge Thai and Latin letterforms into a coherent stylistic whole, drawing on loei-style Thai calligraphy to give the design a slightly condensed, vertically rhythmic character. All nine weights are available for both scripts simultaneously, allowing designers to create bilingual Thai-English layouts without jarring stylistic mismatches. Its geometric leanings make it especially popular for headings, packaging, and modern brand identities.
