About Laila
Created by the Indian Type Foundry, Laila is a contemporary serif designed primarily for Devanagari script while maintaining stylistic harmony with its Latin companion. The Devanagari letterforms are rooted in calligraphic tradition but modernized with consistent stroke contrast and refined details that work well for both running text and display settings. Across five weights it offers real versatility for Hindi-language publishing, editorial design, and digital products.
