About Libre Barcode 39
Libre Barcode 39 is a functional display typeface that renders each character as a valid Code 39 barcode stripe pattern, making it a practical tool for generating machine-readable labels directly from text. Designer Lasse Fister engineered the stroke widths to meet real barcode-scanning tolerances, so output is scanner-compatible when printed at appropriate sizes. It is used almost exclusively in print design, inventory systems, and anywhere a quick barcode solution is needed without specialized software.
