About Libre Bodoni
Libre Bodoni by Pablo Impallari and Rodrigo Fuenzalida is an open revival of Giambattista Bodoni's late eighteenth-century neoclassical roman, preserving the extreme stroke contrast, fine hairline serifs, and vertical stress that define the Bodoni tradition. The variable weight axis brings new flexibility to a typeface historically available only in a narrow range of cuts, and Vietnamese support extends its reach to Southeast Asian publishing. It is best deployed at display sizes where the high contrast can be appreciated — fashion, luxury branding, and editorial contexts.
