About Luxurious Roman
Luxurious Roman by Robert Leuschke is a high-contrast display serif with dramatically thin hairlines and sweeping serifs inspired by engraved titlepage typography of the 17th and 18th centuries. The extreme stroke contrast gives the letterforms a luxury editorial quality — it reads as simultaneously archaic and fashionably high-end, a feeling exploited by perfume and couture branding. Vietnamese support extends its Latin character set, and it suits mastheads, packaging, and invitations where refined excess is the aesthetic.
