About Noto Sans Gunjala Gondi
Noto Sans Gunjala Gondi supports the Gunjala Gondi script, a newly standardized writing system for the Gondi language spoken by the Gondi people of central India—a community with a rich oral tradition now gaining written representation. The variable weight axis across four styles provides range for publication and interface use in a script with very limited existing typeface coverage. This font plays a direct role in linguistic empowerment and digital inclusion for Gondi-speaking communities.
