About Noto Sans Medefaidrin
Medefaidrin, also known as Oberi Okaime, is a script created in the 1930s by members of a Nigerian Christian community in Cross River State for spiritual and communal communication. Noto Sans Medefaidrin supports the full Unicode Medefaidrin block with a variable weight axis covering four instances, providing reliable rendering for a script with deep religious and cultural significance among its originating community. It supports both academic documentation and contemporary use by Medefaidrin communities preserving their unique written heritage.
