About Oldenburg
Oldenburg by Nicole Fally is a display typeface with a medieval Germanic flavour filtered through a contemporary design sensibility, drawing on blackletter and Old German sign-painting traditions without fully committing to either. The letterforms have a blocky, carved quality with decorative serifs and subtle folk-art ornamentation. It suits craft beer labels, Oktoberfest branding, heritage tourism signage, and any project drawing on Central European cultural heritage.
