About Playwrite BE VLG Guides
This guide font provides the pedagogical annotation layer for Playwrite BE VLG, the Flemish (Vlaams) Belgian handwriting style taught in Dutch-speaking Belgian primary schools. Designed by TypeTogether's Veronika Burian and José Scaglione, it differs from the Walloon (French-speaking) Belgian variant in its letterform conventions, reflecting the distinct educational traditions of Flanders. Belgian Flemish educators use it to produce handwriting instruction materials aligned with the Flemish curriculum.
