About Playwrite IS
Playwrite IS by TypeTogether's Veronika Burian and José Scaglione is the Icelandic entry in the Playwrite series — a collection of handwriting curricula typefaces adapted from national penmanship standards. Based on the formal joined-script taught in Icelandic schools, it traces the movement of a carefully held pen with precise joins and consistent letter inclination across its variable weight axis. It suits educational materials for Icelandic learners, handwriting practice worksheets, and formal personal stationery.
