About Playwrite IT Trad
Playwrite IT Trad draws from the traditional Italian cursive handwriting model, emphasizing the elegant, rounded loops and rhythmic forward slant characteristic of Italian penmanship instruction rooted in the Cancellaresca tradition. TypeTogether's Veronika Burian and José Scaglione have translated this heritage into a contemporary variable typeface whose four weights glide from a wispy thin to a more assertive regular.
