Designed by Sorkin Type as the sans-serif companion to Merriweather, Merriweather Sans carries the same reading-optimized DNA — slightly heavy stroke weights, generous x-height, and wide spacing — adapted for a sans structure. The variable wght axis spans six weights, and Cyrillic-ext and Vietnamese support give it meaningful multilingual coverage for publications originally designed around its serif counterpart. It performs well in situations where sans clarity is needed without abandoning the warm, readable quality Merriweather is known for.
