À propos Peddana
Peddana by Appaji Ambarisha Darbha is a Telugu serif typeface named in honor of the 16th-century Telugu poet Allasani Peddana, considered the father of Telugu literature, making the choice of typeface name a deliberate act of cultural reverence. The serif construction brings a traditional, literary formality to Telugu typography, suited to books, magazines, and educational materials published in the language. Its design respects the distinct curves and loops of Telugu letterforms while meeting the expectations of contemporary print and digital environments.
