About Poltawski Nowy

Połtawski Nowy is a revival and extension of Adam Półtawski's 1928 Polish typeface, one of the most significant contributions to European type design of the interwar period. Revived and extended by Mateusz Machalski, Borys Kosmynka, and Ania Wieluńska, the variable font covers four weights with a wght axis and adds Vietnamese support alongside its native Latin-Central-European character set. Its humanist serif construction and deep historical roots make it ideal for cultural, institutional, and literary publishing.
