The Mro script is an indigenous writing system created in the 1980s by Manrue for the Mru people of the Chittagong Hill Tracts in Bangladesh and adjacent Myanmar. Noto Sans Mro offers Unicode-compliant coverage with a clean, consistent rendering of this recently created but culturally significant script. It supports digital communication, language documentation, and publishing for the Mru community.
