概要 Bitcount Ink

Bitcount Ink is Petr van Blokland's exploration of dot-matrix lettering rendered with a flowing, ink-like fill rather than clean rasterized cells, giving the pixel-grid aesthetic an unexpected organic warmth. Like all Bitcount variants, it features eleven variable axes including CRSV (cursive angle), ELSH (element shape controlling whether dots are circular, square, or diamond), and ELXP (element expansion), enabling dramatic shifts in visual character. The resulting display typeface occupies a compelling space between digital precision and handcrafted expressiveness, ideal for editorial design, tech branding, and experimental typography.
