Sobre Aref Ruqaa
Aref Ruqaa is a rare digitization of the Ruq'ah calligraphic style — a script historically used in everyday handwritten Arabic — brought to screen by Abdullah Aref, Khaled Hosny, and the late Hermann Zapf. Its fluid, compact letterforms and minimal dot placement reflect centuries of Ottoman administrative writing tradition.
