The guide companion to Playwrite IS, this typeface annotates the Icelandic school cursive letterforms — a clean, slightly upright style reflecting Scandinavian handwriting traditions adapted to Icelandic orthography, including the distinctive letters Þ (thorn) and Ð (eth). Designed by TypeTogether's Veronika Burian and José Scaglione, it provides stroke-order and directional cues for Icelandic handwriting instruction. Educators producing Icelandic-language penmanship materials will appreciate its fidelity to the national curriculum standard.
