Blaka Ink is Mohamed Gaber's richly textured Arabic display typeface that simulates the look of letterforms rendered with a heavily inked brush or stamp, where ink spreads slightly at stroke terminals and accumulates in counters. The resulting texture gives Arabic text an immediate visual warmth and craft quality that echoes traditional hand-lettering and woodblock printing. It performs best in large-scale applications — poster headings, book covers, and packaging — where the ink texture can fully express its personality.
