Hakkında Harmattan
SIL International's Harmattan is an Arabic sans-serif in four weights, designed specifically for West African languages that use Arabic-based scripts — such as Hausa, Fula, and other languages across the Sahel region where the harmattan wind blows. The letterforms follow Warsh and West African manuscript traditions rather than Middle Eastern Naskh conventions, an important distinction for authentic regional typography. Essential for NGO communications, religious education materials, and publishing targeting Sahelian and West African Arabic-script communities.
