Bitcount Grid Double by Petr van Blokland is an elaborate display face built on a pixel-grid philosophy, where letterforms are constructed from doubled dot elements arranged on a grid, evoking vintage LED matrix displays and early digital typography. Its five variable axes — weight, slant, CRSV (cursive), ELSH (element shift), and ELXP (element expansion) — give designers extraordinary control over the texture and rhythm of the dots.
