Averia Sans Libre was created by Dan Sayers through an unconventional process: averaging the outlines of dozens of existing sans-serif fonts to produce a single typeface that embodies a statistical mean of the genre. The result has softly irregular edges and a slightly dreamy, slightly worn quality that no single purpose-designed font quite replicates. Available in light, regular, and bold, it suits informal publishing, personal projects, and experimental typography.
