关于 Bitcount

Bitcount by Petr van Blokland is the flagship entry in an ambitious display family that rebuilds Latin letterforms using modular pixel-dot elements, explicitly celebrating the aesthetics of early digital displays, LED signage, and bitmap typography. Five variable axes — weight, slant, CRSV (cursive), ELSH (element shift), and ELXP (element expansion) — let designers mutate the dot texture, angle, and density continuously, making every use potentially unique. It is both a conceptual statement about the history of digital type and a highly practical tool for technology brands, data-driven design, and retro-futurist visual identities.
