Cairo Play is an expressive Arabic-Latin variable font developed with the Accademia di Belle Arti di Urbino, offering both weight and slant axes for wide typographic flexibility. The Arabic letterforms follow Naskh conventions adapted for screen rendering, while the Latin companion maintains visual harmony rather than simply borrowing Arabic aesthetic features.
