Encode Sans SC is a small capitals variant of the Encode Sans system developed by Impallari Type, Andres Torresi, and Jacques Le Bailly — a rational, grotesque-inspired sans-serif that adapts the small caps convention for digital-first typography. The variable font spans both width (wdth) and weight (wght) axes with nine instances, giving designers precise control for formal documents, legal or financial text, and editorial design where small caps add hierarchical structure.
