Noto Sans Khudawadi encodes the Khudawadi script, a writing system historically used by the Sindhi-speaking merchant communities of the Sindh region, now primarily in Pakistan. The single-weight design gives this relatively obscure Brahmic script a reliable digital representation that supports scholarly study and community heritage projects. It fills a Unicode coverage gap for one of the lesser-known but historically significant mercantile scripts of South Asia.
