Noto Sans Pau Cin Hau covers the Pau Cin Hau script, a writing system independently invented in the late 19th century by the religious leader Pau Cin Hau to write the Tedim language of the Chin people in Myanmar, originally for recording his religious teachings. The script exists in two forms — the earlier logographic phase and the later alphabetic phase — and this font supports the alphabetic variant as encoded in Unicode. It is essential for documenting the religious and cultural heritage of the Chin people.
