关于 Noto Sans Siddham
Siddham is a medieval script descended from Brahmi, used historically in East Asian Buddhist contexts — particularly in Japanese Shingon and Chinese Zhenyan esoteric traditions — for writing Sanskrit mantras and dhāraṇīs. This Noto typeface provides the character coverage needed for scholarly and liturgical texts that require Siddham script rendering in a digital environment. Its forms reflect the highly stylized calligraphic tradition developed by medieval Buddhist scribes in China and Japan.
