Noto Serif KR is part of Google's Noto project — a global effort to harmonize diverse writing systems within a single cohesive aesthetic — and provides a comprehensive serif solution for Korean Hangul alongside Cyrillic and Vietnamese scripts. Its eight variable weights give Korean content designers the same typographic flexibility previously available mainly to Latin-script typefaces. It's particularly well-suited to editorial publishing, cultural institutions, and any digital product serving Korean-speaking audiences.
